Tamika Summers, LMFT President & Founder

 Tamika supports couples and families in developing healthier relationships. Tamika serves diligently as the company’s President and Founder. Tamika’s passion for success in others is what drives the company’s mission and values. Tamika’s goal is to ensure quality services and provide a healthy and safe space for our clients to grow and heal. In addition to managing operations, Tamika provides substance abuse courses for individuals and groups. 

Maurice Hill, LAPC

Maurice Hill is a Licensed Professional Counselor who chose to become a therapist after serving over 30 years as a public servant. Mr. Hill takes pride in being a U.S Army veteran. He brings to each session a broad spectrum of life experiences in public, government & military settings and feels that his experiences have provided him with a unique insight into the challenges that clients may face and have shaped his empathetic. Mr. Hill has earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Governors State University and has experience working with, adults, couples, and families. He has gained experience in supporting clients in the following areas; anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, trauma, family/relationship conflict, and the development of coping skills. Mr. Hill is known to use collaborative and strength-based approaches rooted in psychodynamics and cognitive-behavioral theories.

Aja Underdue, MA MFT

Aja Underdue holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in children and adolescents. With nearly 25 years of experience in education, Aja has spent her career supporting individuals in their personal growth and development. While her background has given her deep insight into working with young people, she welcomes clients of all ages, including individuals, couples, and families.
Aja’s goal as a therapist is to empower her clients to build confidence in their abilities and reshape their personal narratives in ways that foster healing, strength, and a brighter future. She believes in the power of self-discovery and transformation and is committed to helping clients uncover patterns that may be holding them back.
At the heart of her practice is a strong emphasis on trust, empathy, and a non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and challenges openly. Aja values the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a warm, supportive environment where every client feels heard and understood.

Naomi Cates, LAPC

Naomi is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and has also worked in education as a counselor for 21 years.

Naomi works primarily with teens, young adults, and couples. Across all ages, Naomi provides people with a nonjudgmental environment where they can speak freely and safely. Naomi is an empathic listener who has a heart for helping others. Naomi’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. 

Julie Perez, LPC

Julie is a licensed therapist in Georgia with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. Julie’s work focuses on helping clients manage stress, anxiety, addiction recovery, anger, and challenges with motivation, self-esteem, and self-confidence.

Julie’s approach is rooted in respect, empathy, and collaboration. Julie believes that each person’s path is unique, and she is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where the client’s voice is heard, and the client’s goals guide the work. Julie says, “Together, we’ll tailor a plan that fits your specific needs and empowers you to move forward with confidence.

Robert Morris, LMFT

Clinical Team Lead

Robert is a Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist with an M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine and a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Morehouse College. With over 14 years of clinical experience in Hospice & Palliative end-of-life care, Robert has assisted many clients in navigating illness, death, as well as grief and bereavement. Additionally, Robert has worked with at-risk teens in foster care, adoptive families, and has been involved in reuniting families in both home-based and community settings.

Robert’s mission is to provide an “open space” where all individuals, couples, and families can thrive and reach their maximum potential. Robert is dedicated to creating a safe environment where individuals can become the best version of themselves, particularly those who are marginalized or find themselves on the periphery of society due to societal or cultural labels or stigmas.

As a therapist, Robert walks alongside clients as they narrate, re-imagine, and write their own life stories.

Jacqueline Johnson, CMHC S/T

Jacqueline is a dedicated mental health professional currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and brings 17 years of experience as a business owner. A proud member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Jacqueline is passionate about supporting teens, young adults, and adults who are serious about their mental health and ready to overcome the challenges that may hinder them from becoming their best selves. Her clinical interests include trauma, depression, anxiety, hopelessness, low self-esteem, and the stigma often surrounding mental health. She also has a strong focus on personality and conducts disorders.

With a warm, client-centered approach, Jacqueline strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive. She is committed to empowering clients through self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change. As she continues her clinical training, Jacqueline remains devoted to advocating for mental health and helping others break through the barriers that prevent them from living fulfilling and authentic lives.

 

 

 

Latonia Edwards, CMHC S/T

Latonia Edwards is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate space for individuals seeking to reclaim their personal power and transform their lives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, at a CACREP-accredited program. Latonia specializes in psychodynamic counseling, with a focus on exploring unconscious processes and early life experiences to foster self-awareness and emotional growth. Her approach bridges the connection between past experiences and present challenges, helping clients gain deeper insight and achieve meaningful personal transformation.

Latonia’s counseling philosophy centers on whole health, rejecting a one-size-fits-all therapy model. She tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized and compassionate path to healing. Latonia is dedicated to fostering healing and personal growth for diverse populations. 

As a U.S. Navy veteran, Latonia brings a unique blend of lived experience and professional expertise to her work. She is passionate about empowering clients to reconnect with their authentic selves, achieve emotional growth, and build meaningful, fulfilling lives. Latonia is deeply committed to advocacy and social justice, striving to create a supportive environment that fosters healing and personal growth for diverse populations.

Latonia holds certifications in Human Trafficking Prevention and Intervention, Crisis Intervention, Psychological First Aid, and Trauma-Informed Care, along with credentials from the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV) and the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network. She has also completed specialized training, including PTSD Overview and Treatment and Practical Assessment for PTSD through the Veterans Health Administration Train. These qualifications equip her to provide compassionate, holistic support to clients navigating trauma, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, and a range of other concerns, empowering them to achieve healing and personal growth.

 

 

Clayton Rountree, M.Ed LAPC

Therapy is a space where you get to be open and fully yourself—messy feelings, complicated stories, and all. My approach is down-to-earth, holistic, and collaborative, which means we’ll work together to figure out what’s getting in the way and what might help you move forward. I primarily work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including mood and conduct disorders, trauma, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. Because no two people are the same, I use an eclectic approach—drawing from different therapeutic modalities to tailor our sessions to your specific needs and goals. Whether you’re trying to make sense of your emotions, untangle difficult relationships, or simply want to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

 

 

Summer Wesley, MFT S/T

Summer is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with over three years of hands-on experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most tender and transformative moments. Currently completing advanced clinical training toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Summer combines evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each client’s unique story and cultural background.

Summer works with clients navigating a range of relational challenges—including family conflict, divorce, co-parenting, and the complexities of blending families. She also has a special interest in supporting new and expecting parents as they adjust to parenthood, process identity shifts, and strengthen their partnerships during this pivotal time.

Sessions are collaborative and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on improving communication, resolving conflict, and fostering resilience within the family system.With a warm, grounded presence, Summer creates a space where children, parents, and couples alike can feel safe to explore, heal, and grow—at their own pace and in their own way.

 

 

Ashley Soto CMHC S/T

My name is Ashley Soto, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As an intern provider at Georgia Counseling Inc., I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth through compassionate, client-centered care. In addition to my work as a counseling intern, I also serve as an educator in the public school system, where I have developed a deep appreciation for the diverse needs of individuals and families. This dual role enriches my perspective and informs my approach to counseling, especially in understanding how educational, emotional, and social systems intersect. I have a particular clinical interest in working with individuals facing substance use challenges and am passionate about creating a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive space for all clients. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based approaches to help empower clients in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals.Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, I strive to provide inclusive and accessible care for clients from a variety of backgrounds. Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading poetry, hiking, painting, and spending time with my two children. I believe in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship and am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges.

 

Tyra Harris. MFT S/T

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and current graduate student I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families reconnect with themselves and each other in meaningful ways. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I spent my formative years between Detroit and Niagara Falls, New York, which gave experiences that shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives and the importance of strong, supportive communities.

My journey into the world of therapy is deeply rooted in a desire to offer others what we all need at some point in our lives: a safe, non-judgmental space to feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe in the power of healing through connection and I’m committed to guiding clients toward greater self-awareness, clarity, and empowerment.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy gardening, dancing, and hosting themed parties that bring people together in joyful, creative ways. I’m also an avid student of holistic healing. I’m currently building my own apothecary and learning about herbal remedies that support wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly, I am a proud mother of a son in high school, who inspires me every day.

Becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist is more than a career for me, it’s a calling. Supporting others as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength is incredibly fulfilling. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing and wholeness.

Tania is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I been dedicated to my studies for over four years and is passionate about helping others find healing, growth, and balance in their lives. Before entering the counseling field, I served as an Ombudsman, where I advocated for seniors and worked to ensure their voices were heard at the state level. My compassion, advocacy experience, and genuine desire to make a difference guide my approach to counseling as I continues developing my professional skills in the mental health field.
